Now with a new technology Komatsu engine, our intelligent Machine Control (iMC) 2.0 D71EXi-24 bulldozer – available in both standard and low-ground-pressure configurations – incorporates a unique fully integrated blade control system, allowing it to carry out both bulk and final trim dozing in automatic from start to finish with final grade performance. This significantly increases productivity and efficiency while reducing the cost of each metre of material moved. And it comes standard with our Komtrax remote monitoring and location system, backed by our NZ-wide service and support network.

Intelligent Performance

The Komatsu D71EXi-24 Intelligent Machine Control 2.0 dozer offers an outstanding improvement in productivity with its innovative and fully automatic blade control function that performs both rough dozing and finish grading in automatic mode.

Hydrostatic transmission (HST) control system

The D71EX/PX-24 is equipped with Komatsu-designed HST provides smooth powerful turns. Fully electronic control provides full automatic shifting and enables smooth control. The travel speed can be selected smoothly with the UP/ DOWN switch, and the engine power is maximised in all speed ranges. In addition, a powerful and smooth turn is achieved by controlling the outer track faster and the inner crawler track slower.

Unrivaled Blade Visibility

The D71EXi/PXi-24 incorporates Komatsu’s super-slant nose design. Komatsu’s innovative design provides excellent blade visibility for improved machine control and increased efficiency and productivity.
