  • Written Application: Apply online by uploading your CV, cover letter and any other desired supporting documents.

  • Video Interview: Following submission of your written application, you will receive an invitation to complete a short, pre-recorded video interview.
  •  

    Interview: Successful applicants will be invited to attend the local branch for a face-to-face interview, as well as to participate in both a practical and written technical assessment.
  •  

    Pre-employment checks: Applicants successful through interview will then be required to conduct a medical assessment, drug and alcohol screen, functional assessment, compliance checks and reference checks.
  •  

    Offer: Once pre-employment checks are completed you will be formally offered a contract as a Komatsu Apprentice. Congratulations!
  •  

    Onboarding: Once you have signed your contract, you will complete your onboarding by uploading important documents (such as your bank details, IRD and NZ Super) so you are ready to begin your apprenticeship. We eagerly anticipate your arrival as you embark on this exciting journey with us.

    * IMPORTANT*: Each candidate can apply for the Apprenticeship Program only once. Multiple applications will not be considered. Please review the apprenticeship streams carefully and apply to one only.
