Komatsu New Zealand – COVID-19 Vaccination Status

Following the New Zealand Government announcement around COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the workplace, Komatsu New Zealand has undertaken a risk assessment and we wish to advise that we will be implementing a new vaccination policy. This will help us provide a COVID safe workplace for our customers, suppliers, employees, and visitors.

We wish to advise that from the 17th January 2022, we require all suppliers, contractors, customers, and visitors to be fully vaccinated to be able to access our work sites throughout New Zealand.

Proof of vaccination is required before or on arrival to be able to access our sites and our employee’s services by scanning the QR code on your My Vaccine Pass.

In the instance of not being fully vaccinated by the 17th January 2022, we will undertake a risk assessment and consultation with the affected parties to determine if the unvaccinated person is able to visit our sites under specific conditions.

We are open to discuss with any of our suppliers, contractors, customers and guests about their circumstances and any issues they may have with our vaccine mandate.

This new vaccine mandate accompanies COVID-19 measures that are already in effect to minimise the spread. This includes mandatory QR code sign in, mask-wearing, social distancing, and vigorous cleaning throughout NZ branches.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact us.

Thank you for your continued support and stay safe.
