How to Plant A Tree

Tree planting is one of the most common activities people associate with helping the earth,
and without trees there would be no life on this planet!

Planting is an act of putting down roots and contributing to the future.
Follow the steps below, with the help of an adult and contribute to our future;

Dig the hole as deep as the root and twice as wide
Check to see if the soil around the hole is too hard - if it is, loosen it up a bit with the shovel
Remove the container from the root (if they are twisted and knotted, you may need to straighten them out)
Place the tree in the hole
Fill in around the root with soil, and pack the soil with your hands and feet, making sure there are no air pockets
Give your tree a good soaking of water to get it settled into it's new home
