What is the maximum class size?
The maximum class for the training is 8 participants. This is to provide a safe environment whilst being around the equipment and to ensure we maintain high quality training sessions.
Can the training be conducted on-site?
Our trainers are fully equipped to conduct training at suitable locations in most areas. Due to the practical content of our training, we recommend that the course be conducted on a site with a machine.
Are course materials included in the cost of the training?
When course content is decided on, we will provide pricing for your training that will include the courses costs, material costs and any other costs involved like travel and accommodation.
What is the cost of the training?
Firstly, assess which modules are to be conducted and how often these modules are to occur, then contact the Technical Training team to obtain a quote.
What is the style of teaching - demo, lecture, hands-on?
Most courses are delivered entirely off the job at a training facility with access to a machine. The courses will be delivered through a combination of face to face trainer led theory classess and practical sessions involving small group and individual activities.
Who teaches Komatsu courses?
Our team of Technical Trainers are qualified to the requirements of the nationally recognised Certificate IV Workplace Trainer Qualfication level, in addition to their trade qualifications. In addition Komatsu technical trainers have a wealth of hands on product experience and are backed by factory training from our many manufacturing facilities.
